Speeding along Springwood Drive is something many people living on the street have to deal with on a daily basis. After years of watching people zoom by, the residents in this area of Southwood along with the Community Association and NEXTCalgary have completed engagement and are in the process of putting an application together to paint the pavement at a busy intersection.

On Monday, August 15, the Community Association and NEXTCalgary engaged with community members in the area to talk more about the painting the pavement project and the next steps that can be taken to lead to slowing traffic. Below, you will find information about traffic calming, tactical urbanism, and the results from the survey.
