Help us build our Community Vision

What kind of community do we want to be? What's great, and what's missing?

The Southwood Community Association is part of an exciting pilot project that will help us work together to define what we want to see in the community. Using a process set out by the Federation of Calgary Communities, the vision will serve as a foundation for the Community Association that can help us in the future by:

  • Being a document that can be used as a guide for how the planning committee evaluates applications
  • Guiding us in discussions with developers and the City on what’s important to Southwood residents
  • Creating a starting point for future planning work on a Local Area Plan

The Process

Creating the Community Vision will take four or five months, and there will be many different opportunities for you to participate.
